Mission Statement

The mission of the Fairmont Chamber of Commerce is to be a membership organization dedicated to promoting and supporting economic development, assist with enhancing the overall economic environment and quality of life in our community, and dedicated to meeting the identified needs of our city by fostering economic opportunity and a respected business climate within our region.

Welcome to the Fairmont Chamber of Commerce

The Chamber of Commerce is committed to the growth and development of business in Fairmont and the surrounding area. We currently have approximately 80 individuals and businesses as members of the Chamber and any of us are ready to provide you with information about the business community. As a Chamber we look forward to creating a stronger local economy by promoting our small yet growing community bubbling with history and a promising vision for our future. Our goal is to promote economic growth by attracting new business and encouraging our citizens to buy from local merchants. The Chamber of Commerce will provide a strong voice for our business community and we encourage you to become a part of what will be said.

We have a rich history and are proud of our progress and of our past. Many exciting events are planned for the coming months including our July 4 th celebration and our annual Fairmont Farmers Festival held each October. I encourage businesses large and small to become involved in all of our activities and hope you too will take advantage of the opportunities we have grown to love in Fairmont .

We want to know how the Chamber can better serve existing members and attract new members. Please feel free to contact me or any member of the Chamber with suggestions for better ways to meet your needs. The Chamber meets the first Monday of each month at 6:00pm in the Fairmont Border Belt Museum and please consider this your invitation to join us soon.
