Among the larger industrial employers located in Fairmont are McKee Craft, Knit Creations and J & D Wood. Fairmont also has a unique mix of thriving small businesses and professionals, including several clothing and specialty stores, building supply companies, florists and grocery stores. Also located locally are licensed contractors, accountants, landscape architects and a variety of restaurants. Virtually any need can be met by these enterprises, and there is strong support and patronage by the Fairmont Community.
