The Gold Rush band from Lumberton entertains the crowd for over two hours
with oldies and beach music.

Mayor Kemp introduces Miss UNCP Outstanding Teen Brianna Hunt,Miss UNCP Jamee Hunt, Miss UNCP Carolina Princess Haley Oxendine and Miss UNCP OT Carolina Princess Shayla Hunt. Jamee was the first runner-up at the Miss North Carolina pageant and Brianna was named Miss Congeniality at the Miss NC Outstanding Teen pageant.

Over 3,000 people came out to see the fireworks.

The fireworks were fantastic and everyone is looking forward
to doing it again next year!
