This project received support from the North Carolina Arts Council, an agency of the Department of Cultural Resources, and the National Endowment for
the Arts, which believes that a great nation deserves great art.

Mayor Kemp welcomes everyone to the dedication of Memory Lane and the Wall of Honor on Monday, May 25, 2009.

Dedication plaque 
Main Street view of the finished Memory Lane. 
An ornamental fence and benches were added to the park.  Planters and decorative trees were also installed.
