Mondays - Chair Aerobics for Seniors, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Heritage Center, $3.00 a class.

Mondays - Line Dancing, 6:00 p.m., Heritage Center.

Wednesdays - Thunder Zone Karate, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Fire Hall, $40 a month.

Thursdays - Line Dancing, Advance Class 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Beginner's Class, 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Heritage Center, $3.00 a class. Free for Southeastern Lifestyle Fitness Members.

Tuesdays and Thursdays - The Fairmont Group of Alcoholics Anonymous, 8:00 p.m., Fairmont First Baptist Church. Contact 628-5031 for more information.

Last Wednesday of each month - (Except for the summer months of July and August) First Baptist Church South Main Street, Community Ministry, Free meal for homeless, veterans and low income individuals, 6:00 p.m.

Sunday, June 28 - Fairmont's Fantastic Fourth Fireworks featuring the Pizazz Band from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Friday, July 3 - Town offices closed in observance of Independence Day.

Tuesday, July 14 - NCDMV Mobile Drivers License Unit, 10:30 to 4:30 p.m., Town Hall parking lot.

Saturday, July 18 - Lumber River Day Festival, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Lumber River State Park.

Tuesday, July 21 - Regular Town Board meeting, 6:00 p.m., Council Chambers.

Saturday, July 25 - Project Hope "Cry Out for the Youth", 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Fairmont Community Park. Food and Music.

Saturday, October 17 - Fairmont Farmers Festival.

Friday, December 4 - Holiday on Main Twilight Christmas Parade.

The NCDMV has a mobile Driver's License unit that comes to Fairmont on the second Tuesday, following the first full week, of each month. The operating hours are 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the parking lot of Town Hall next to the Fire Hall.

The Fairmont Board of Commissioners meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, second floor, Town Hall.

The Planning Board meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building Council Chambers when necessary.

The Hector McLean Public Library is a branch of the Robeson County Public Library system and is open Monday: 2 p.m. - 6 p.m., Tuesday: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., Wednesday:
2 p.m. - 6 p.m., Thursday: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. and Friday: 2 p.m. -
6 p.m.
