Mondays - Chair Aerobics for Seniors, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Heritage Center, $3.00 a class.

Mondays - Line Dancing, 6:00 p.m., Heritage Center.

Wednesdays - Thunder Zone Karate, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Fire Hall, $40 a month.

Thursdays - Line Dancing, Advance Class 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Beginner's Class, 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Heritage Center, $3.00 a class. Free for Southeastern Lifestyle Fitness Members.

Friday, April 24 - Fairmont Heritage Days Country Dinner, 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Fairmont-South Robeson Heritage Center. Music, Square Dancing and Storytelling. $15 per plate or 2 for $25.

Saturday, April 25 - Fairmont Heritage Days festival, 8:30 to 4:00 p.m. on the grounds of the Border Belt Museum featuring country, gospel & blue grass music, country arts and crafts, food, antique cars & farm equipment, pound cake baking contest and BBQ pig cookoff. From 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. you are invited to "Drag Main" from Town Hall to the Snak Shak.

Wednesday, April 29 - First Baptist Church South Main Street, Community Ministry, Free meal for homeless, veterans and low income individuals, 6:00 p.m.

Friday, May 1 - FHS Varsity Baseball vs. South Robeson, HOME, 6:00 p.m.

Saturday, May 2 - Second annual May Day Fun Festival.

Tuesday, May 5 and Thursday, May 7 - Breaking the Chains - The Party, 6:00 p.m., Heritage Center. Prizes, Free Food and Music. Public Welcome.

Tuesday, May 12 - NCDMV Mobile Driver's License Unit, 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Town Hall parking lot.

Friday, May 15 - After School Program, 4:00 p.m., Hector MacLean Public Library. Ages 6-12.

The NCDMV has a mobile Driver's License unit that comes to Fairmont on the second Tuesday, following the first full week, of each month. The operating hours are 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Fairmont Board of Commissioners meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, second floor, Town Hall.

The Planning Board meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building Council Chambers when necessary.

The Hector McLean Public Library is a branch of the Robeson County Public Library system and is open Monday: 2 p.m. - 6 p.m., Tuesday: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., Wednesday:
2 p.m. - 6 p.m., Thursday: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. and Friday: 2 p.m. -
6 p.m.
