Mondays - Chair Aerobics for Seniors, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Heritage Center, $3.00 a class.
Mondays - Line Dancing, 6:00 p.m., Heritage Center.
Wednesdays - Thunder Zone Karate, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Fire Hall, $40 a month.
Thursdays - Line Dancing, Advance Class 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Beginner's Class, 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Heritage Center, $3.00 a class. Free for Southeastern Lifestyle Fitness Members.

Tuesday, November 24 - Fairmont Rotary Club Auction and BBQ plate sale, 5:00 to 7:30 p.m., Fairmont South Robeson Heritage Center. BBQ plates are $8 with $5 credit going toward auction.
Wednesday, November 25 - No School and Town offices close at noon.
Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27 - Town offices and schools closed in observance of Thanksgiving.
Saturday, November 28 - HANDS Junior Civitan Club host Breakfast with Santa, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Cukabury Farms.

Monday, December 7 - The Fairmont Chamber of Commerce will host their annual Chamber Christmas Party at 6:30 p.m. at the Fairmont Golf Club. The dinner is free to Chamber members. Non-members can attend for $50 a couple which includes 2016 membership to the Chamber of Commerce. Wednesday, December 16 - First Baptist Church South Main Street Community Minisitry, Free meal for homeless, veterans and low income individuals, 6:00 p.m.
The NCDMV has a mobile Driver's License unit that comes to Fairmont on the second Tuesday, following the first full week, of each month. The operating hours are 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the parking lot of Town Hall next to the Fire Hall.
The Fairmont Board of Commissioners meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, second floor, Town Hall.
The Planning Board meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building Council Chambers when necessary.

County Public Library system and is open
